Celebrity Cruises has made a name for itself on the seas as a premium cruise line offering unique experiences and relaxed luxury every day on board. I worked with a team to help the existing Celebrity Cruises social media manager execute the existing content calendar, while also strategizing to support upcoming company initiatives and creating and launching new campaigns across social media platforms.

Telling the story of Celebrity

The bulk of my work came in the form of creating Instagram stories utilizing existing Celebrity Cruises photo assets. In addition to supporting the existing content calendar, I provided engaging new content that capitalized on the things that set Celebrity Cruises apart. From sharing recipes from Celebrity Cruises’ Michelin star chefs to taking viewers on a journey through Celebrity’s most unique on-shore experiences, I brought the audience into the world of Celebrity Cruises while maintaining the brand’s elegant, relaxed luxury identity.

Connecting with kindred spirits

As part of my work with Celebrity Cruises, I helped create and execute the Kindred Spirits campaign, in which Celebrity Cruises posed as a potential “match” in content replicating a dating app format. From responding to dating app style prompts to setting up mock profiles for different Celebrity Cruises ships, this campaign employed a playful persona for the brand that directly engaged with the audience.

Celebrating a new ship

Launching a new ship is one of the biggest events for a cruise line, so it was all hands on deck when the Celebrity Beyond set sail in early 2022. Our team assisted Celebrity Cruises in celebrating this launch with engaging content exploring the new ship from prow to stern and sharing all the amazing journeys the audience could take with her.
