Home Made Simple provides helpful information and how-to’s to anyone who’s ever asked themselves, “How do I clean that?”. After identifying new areas of opportunity and implementing a new strategy, our team improved Home Made Simple’s SEO and created over new 100 pieces of content to further cement the brand as a go-to expert in cleaning.

Building success for a pivoting brand
Home Made Simple was once an Emmy-winning TV show, then a DIY resource, then a product line. So when it pivoted once again to become an expert in cleaning, it needed some backup in the form of new content and strategy. While other team members wrote new articles and identified search opportunities, I contributed to the visual side of things. Across multiple content sprints from 2020-2022, I provided storyboards for photoshoots, edited the resulting photos, sourced additional stock photography, and created dozens of Pinterest Pins linking back to the new content on Home Made Simple’s site.
the results
Home Made Simple saw an immediate increase in organic traffic, with several pieces of website content ranking as top results on Google. The Pins helped grow Home Made Simple’s Pinterest following to over 80,000 and led to the brand becoming “a household name at Pinterest for the lowest CPCs we’ve ever seen” according to an official Pinterest rep.
